Bburago F1 Models – a whole season at a sensible price
Bburago is an Italian diecast brand founded in 1974 in Burago di Molgora near Milan; today it belongs to the Hong Kong-based May Cheong Group. It has long been strong in 1:43 F1 cars and also offers 1:18 and 1:24. The collection covers F1 cars from 2023 to 2025 as well as Ferrari endurance racers.
What is in the collection
- 2025 season: Ferrari SF-25 of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen's Red Bull RB21, Oscar Piastri's McLaren MCL39.
- 2023–2024 seasons: Ferrari SF-24 of Leclerc (including the Miami special edition) and Sainz, Ferrari SF-23 from Las Vegas 2023, Sergio Pérez's Red Bull RB19 (Miami, Austin, Las Vegas), Piastri's McLaren MCL38 from Monaco.
- Sets: Mercedes with Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari with Leclerc, each with a pit garage, and a set of seven Ferrari Leclerc/Sainz models.
- Le Mans and road Ferraris: 499P #50, winner of the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans (1:18, 1:24, 1:43, also Deluxe), 499P #83 AF Corse, SF90 Stradale and the historic 330 P4 from Daytona 1967. More endurance cars are in Le Mans car models.
Series and scales
In 1:43 Bburago makes standard models without a figure and the Signature series with a driver figure in a clear display box. Detail reflects the price: shape and livery are accurate, small items (antennas, cameras) are simplified. You can also browse by scale in Bburago 1:43, Bburago 1:18 and Bburago Scuderia Ferrari models. How Bburago differs from Spark and Minichamps is explained in Spark vs Minichamps vs Bburago.
Frequently asked questions
Are Bburago models suitable for collectors?
Yes, especially for beginners and fans who want a whole season at a sensible price. The Signature series is also ready to display.
How big are 1:43 and 1:18 models?
Divide the real car's length by the scale. A 4.5 m car is about 10.5 cm long in 1:43 and about 25 cm in 1:18. See our model car scales guide for details.
